I want this new Kindle Touch so bad.  Only $99!  I cracked the screen on my original Kindle 3 back in Vietnam and have been reading on my iPad for the past few months – which pales in comparison to reading on the Kindle.  Unfortunately the Kindle Touch is not available until late November, but I will try to figure out how to get one here to Doha as quickly as I can after that.

Yes, yes, a sad day here at Orangwutang.com, as this is the last post I’ll be posting – for the foreseeable future, at least.  We moved from Vietnam to Doha, Qatar about three weeks ago, and it feels like it’s time to shut this blog down.

In my mind Oranwutang.com is and will always be very much associated with my time in Vietnam – and it just doesn’t feel right to post Qatar-related stuff here.   Maybe I’ll change my mind about that in the future, but for now that’s how I feel.

I’m going to leave it online – it will always be a good record of my four-plus years in Vietnam – but I’m not going to actively post here anymore.  I’ll keep posting stuff over on Cousteau’s blog:  www.cousteautaowebb.com.
