Morning Commute (For Realz)

Yesterday morning I retried filming my commute from a camera mounted on my motorbike’s handlebars. It turned out it wasn’t the battery going dead en route – it was my memory card filling up. But I still was able to capture about 5/6ths or so of my commute.

I don’t expect anyone to watch the whole thing – but I think watching part of this will tell you what it’s like living in Saigon on a daily basis better than 100 blog posts with me just describing it or taking still shots. Nothing too crazy happened yesterday morning – just a typical commute. Anyway, if you’re interested watch a few minutes of it.

For those of you familiar with Saigon, I’m leaving my apartment on Pham Ngoc Thach (north of downtown), ending up going south on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia all the way to the river, then across the river, through District 4, and south into District 7. I’m on the main road almost to Phu My Hung when I run out of memory. Anyway, here you go:
